The installed 12.8 m² s-power solar heating system (80 tubes) feeds into a 1,000 litre solar combi-stratified storage reservoir.
In addition, there is a solid fuel boiler and a gas condensing boiler connected to the combi-stratified storage reservoir.
The s-power solar controller TDC3 monitors the temperatures in the collector circuit and in the combi-stratified storage reservoir and controls the solar circulating pump in the s-power solar station.
The solar heating system and the solid fuel boiler take over the supply of the warm water demands and the heating circuits. During periods where the solid fuel boiler or the solar heating system do not provide sufficient energy, the gas condensing boiler heating system takes over supplying the warm water and heating circuit.
The calculated amortisation period of the solar collector system is 5-6 years.
